Being the former residence of Ottoman Sultans, the imperial Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul features an impressive design and a one-of-a-kind charm. Its name contains the word Çırağan’ which is the Persian term for light. It’s a name that reflects its character and beauty and that soon became synonym with the palace when Fatma Sultan began organizing torch-lit celebrations in the gardens.
